2014, 2015 ICAl, CSV and text files now available online.
We have updated the downloadable ICS (Ical), CSV, and TXT calendar files on the website: 2014, 2015 and 2016 until Gaura Purnima.
As always, all calendar dates are 100% in accordance to the very latest official GBC calendars, made by Gcal 11.

You may have seen this before, its a nice little Vaishnav Calendar Reminder software that is free to download. The devotee who made it has now fixed the mistakes of the previous version.
It can be downloaded for free from http://calender.iskcondesiretree.info/vaishnavareminder.htm
once you download it and installed it then when it says run say yes and go to Options screen, then in the middle of that grey page you'll see PLACE SEARCH, click that, and find your place:
I noticed that it already has the following NZ towns with latitude and longitude entered, it has many other towns and countries too:
Find your town/place. select
Auckland
Christchurch
Dunedin
Hamilton
Invercargill
Napier
Palmerston Nth
Tauranga
Wellington
Whangarei
then APPLY
and that should be it, working.
let me know if you have any problems with it.
I hope that is of use to you

Dear respected Vaisnavas & Vaisnavis, Hare Krishna!
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
All glories to Sri Sri Guru Gauranga!
Today I am leaving for an extended Prabhupada book distribution marathon and will return to office the first week of Jan 2012.
All email reminders are programmed into our database ready to be sent out on time, and so I hope that the system does not miss a beat while I am away as I will not have any internet access to look after things.
All ics / text / html and csv calendar files for 2012 to 2014 are avaiable
online (all years for each location are in one file):

This year we will be distributing in Sweden and Norway! Please pray that Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda shower us with Their mercy so that we can be an instrument in Their hands, that They give us the ability to enthuse others to take a book and contribute to our wonderful movement, thus pleasing Srila Prabhupada!
Thank you all for your kind words of support and to the many sponsors who have helped keep the service running - you are all very much appreciate by me, Hare Krishna!
Please continue to support our services by regularly visiting our devotee sponsored links on the website, thanks!

Dear respected Vaisnava's and Vaisnavi's,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
For a few years now devotees have been asking for files that they can import into either MS Outlook or Palm Desktop - finally we can offer a very easy solution.
1) Download to your hard drive the Ical file for your nearest location
from the following page
http://www.vaisnavacalendar.info/ICS/
2) Go to this Ical to Vcal online converter page:
http://www.vaisnavacalendar.info/ical2vcal.html
3) Use the form on the page to browse and select the Ical file you
downloaded and click the "convert to Vcal" button.
We have only briefly tested this tool - so please do let us know if you meet with success or failure so we can refine.

The GBC (http://www.dandavats.com/?cat=47) Vaisnava Calendar Committee announces the first public beta release of its new calendar calculation software, “GCal” (Gaurabda Calendar). This is completely new software, developed from the ground up by Gopalapriya Das of ISKCON Bratislava, Slovakia, and is a full-featured calendar calculation program for Gaudiya Vaisnavas. Choose from the database of thousands of locations, or add new ones. Calculate tithis and naksatras, and add custom events that you are interested in observing. Find out sunrise and sunset timings, and lots more.
This is a beta test release. We invite the devotee community to download the software, give it a test run, and send in their feedback. It is available for free download from http://www.KrishnaDays.com after registration.
Also at KrishnaDays we have published some substantial program documentation for GCal and established a forum for discussion of calendar related topics. Coming soon at this site will be a revolutionary new type of online personalized calendar and reminder system featuring not only the standard observances but also all the days that are important to you, such as your guru’s vyasa puja day, family birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
