Family planning in modern times has simply come to mean a method of contreception that offers service to terminate future generations of a couple's blood line before they get a chance to take birth into a family as unwanted progeny. Either through contraception or abortion the child is killed. This they call family planning.

The services we are offering here are the opposite to this vicious uncaring modern socity's methods of "Family planning". Through the ancient wisdom of Vedik civilization coming out of India, a land known for it's love of children, we are helping thousands to bring into the world children that are wanted, to be loved and cared for by conscientious loving parents. The children themselves are invoked by purificatory rites by concenting loving parents. These rites are known as Garbhadana samskara. The word "samskara" has several meanings; according to the Tarka-sastra (science of logic) as an "impression on memory", But this is not how the word is generally understood. "Sam(s)"=well; "kara"=making. "Samskara" means making something good, refining or purifying it.

However, before we go about purifying we also want to invoke a certain quality set into the consciousness of the child. So this goes deeper than merely selecting a pedigree, or selecting seeds from a tree, this selects the nature of the tree also by scientificly combining of set modes of nature through behavoural paterns.

The three modes of nature; Sattwa (goodness), Rajasa (passion) and Tamasa (ignorance) each have their natural inclinations and tendencies, or modes. These are described in Bhagavad Gita.
Srimad Bhagavatam 7.12.11 states one should take permission from guru before indulging in begetting children (if distance separates o communication is a challenge then meditate on this Garbadanam as a means of pleasing guru and Krishna. Srimad Bhagavatam 3.23.11 ref: Wife should be decorated with ornaments, scents and other attractive features, fine red silk sari - the house should be clean, decorated with flowers, festoons, devotional music, incense, sattvic things, flower garlands, tilak, one's favourite things etc. Srimad Bhagavatam 4.13.38: - Both take the opportunity to offer arghya to the Saligram or Deity, and incense, and a flower (flowers). Small sweetmeats in some parts of India are made to offer to the Lord. Then before uniting one can partake of the maha-prasad in a view that by the Lord's mercy after union they may conceive a good child.

Needless to say we want to bring into the world progeny that will benefit the world, who will be pleasing, and full of good qualities, which we often refer to as "Rays of Vishnu" after the great saintly child Bimala Prasad who grew up to be known as Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad, the spiritual master of Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad, the Founder Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon).

"There are two kinds of children born of good fathers: one is educated in Krishna consciousness so that he can be delivered from the clutches of mäyä in that very life, and the other is a ray of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and teaches the world the ultimate goal of life." (Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. 8th August 1976. Srimad Bhagavatam class SB 3:22:19. Tehran, Iran)

Factually speaking, so many persons are having sex and begetting children, but if we take a serious and honest look at the way the world is going, and the sad degeneration of good qualities in the general populous, is that who or what we want to invoke. I would humbly suggest that to most the answer would be No, that we want nice cultured progeny embued with good qualities.

So which tree does one approach to find sweet juicy paletable mangoes, and which tree by nature does one go to find thorns. Obviously we go to the mango tree to find mangoes. Here for the sake of the analogy, the mangoes represent good progeny epitimised as Krishna's devotee - A Ray of Vishnu.

Lord Sri Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita 7:11.

balaà balavatäà cähaà
käma-räga-vivarjitam
dharmäviruddho bhüteñu
kämo ’smi bharatarñabha

SYNONYMS
balam—strength; bala-vatäm—of the strong; ca—and; aham—I am; käma—passion; räga—and attachment; vivarjitam—devoid of; dharma-aviruddhaù—not against religious principles; bhüteñu—in all beings; kämaù—sex life; asmi—I am; bharata-åñabha—O lord of the Bhäratas.

TRANSLATION
"I am the strength of the strong, devoid of passion and desire. I am sex life which is not contrary to religious principles, O lord of the Bhäratas [Arjuna]."

"Kandarpa is the sex desire for presenting good sons; therefore Kandarpa is the representative of Kåñëa. Sometimes sex is engaged in only for sense gratification; such sex does not represent Kåñëa. But sex for the generation of good children is called Kandarpa and represents Kåñëa." (Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Bhagavad Gita 10:28 purport.)

"Sucinäm Shrimatäm gehe. So this child is born of a devotee father and devotee mother. Now he’ll again begin from the point where he lost last life. Suppose Krishna consciousness he executed fifty percent. So he’ll begin from this life fifty-one percent. That fifty percent was in his stock. But ordinary karmis—cent percent lost. He has to begin another chapter of life according to his karma." (Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. 17th July 1971. Lexture in Detroit.)

So this is our purpose, to give the opportunity to couple who wish to bring into the world good quality children, souls who are sufficently evolved and progressed that they can benefit those around them rather than become bewildered by the attractions of the illusory nature of the Kali Yuga in which they will grow up.

There are many aspects to this, as it is a science. The lab' is the environment which one sets, the aparatus used in the "experiment" are how our lives are, the nature of our house, the cleanliness, the order, the fragrance, the foods we eat and so on. Then there is the subtle environment often which we take for granted set by the atrological and astronomical events of the day and night.

"Astronomical calculations of stellar influences upon a living being are not suppositions, but are factual, as confirmed in Srimad-Bhagavatam. Every living being is controlled by the laws of nature at every minute, just as a citizen is controlled by the influence of the state. The state laws are grossly observed, but the laws of material nature, being subtle to our gross understanding, cannot be experienced grossly. As stated in the Bhagavad-gita (3.9), every action of life produces another reaction, which is binding upon us, and only those who are acting on behalf of Yajna (Vishnu) are not bound by reactions. Our actions are judged by the higher authorities, the agents of the Lord, and thus we are awarded bodies according to our activities. The law of nature is so subtle that every part of our body is influenced by the respective stars, and a living being obtains his working body to fulfill his terms of imprisonment by the manipulation of such astronomical influence. A man's destiny is therefore ascertained by the birthtime constellation of stars, and a factual horoscope is made by a learned astrologer. It is a great science, and misuse of a science does not make it useless. Mahäräja Parékñit or even the Personality of Godhead appear in certain constellations of good stars, and thus the influence is exerted upon the body thus born at an auspicious moment. The most auspicious constellation of stars takes place during the appearance of the Lord in this material world, and it is specifically called jayanté, a word not to be abused for any other purposes. Mahäräja Parékñit was not only a great kñatriya emperor, but also a great devotee of the Lord. Thus he cannot take his birth at any inauspicious moment. As a proper place and time is selected to receive a respectable personage, so also to receive such a personality as Mahäräja Parékñit, who was especially cared for by the Supreme Lord, a suitable moment is chosen when all good stars assembled together to exert their influence upon the King. Thus he took his birth just to be known as the great hero of Çrémad-Bhägavatam. This suitable arrangement of astral influences is never a creation of man's will, but is the arrangement of the superior management of the agency of the Supreme Lord. Of course, the arrangement is made according to the good or bad deeds of the living being. Herein lies the importance of pious acts performed by the living being. Only by pious acts can one be allowed to get good wealth, good education and beautiful features. The saàskäras of the school of sanätana-dharma (man's eternal engagement) are highly suitable for creating an atmosphere for taking advantage of good stellar influences, and therefore garbhädhäna-saàskära, or the first seedling purificatory process prescribed for the higher castes, is the beginning of all pious acts to receive a good pious and intelligent class of men in human society. There will be peace and prosperity in the world due to good and sane population only; there is hell and disturbance only because of the unwanted, insane populace addicted to sex indulgence." RTU KALABHIGAMI YAH SVA DARA NIRATAS CA YAH
SA SADA BRAHMA CARIHA VIJNEYA SAN GRHASRAMI
RTUH SODASA YAMINYAS CATASRAS TASU GARHITAH
PUTRAS TASU API YUGMAS TU AYUGMAH KANYAKAH SMRTAH

(HARI BHAKTI VILASA 11/156,157 from SKANDA PURANA and PADMA PURANA)

"Any grhastha (householder) who copulates with his own wife only when it is time for conception is called brahmacari or celibate. There are sixteen nights for conception of the woman from the day of the discharge of menstruation. Among them, the first four nights are rejected and very much criticized (by scripture). Of whatever days are left, on the even numbered days, one produces a son and on the odd numbered days, one produces daughter.

RUTHU - DHINAM. (Rtu kala). Taken from Kala Prakashika. The same is also found in Agni Puran chapter 151.

This is the expression that is used to denote the sixteen day period from the first day of the the menstrual cycle.

Sexual union during the odd days of the menstrual cycle will tend to produce a female body in the child, whereas union performed on an even dhinam will brng forth a male body. So those purified souls who wish to beget a putra (a son who can liberate one from th hell known as Pu) should try to conceive on the even days (dhinam) of this cycle.

According to Ancient Vedik Shastra/scriptures the following days have their results:------
The first four days are asuchi (impure) due to blood flow, therefore abstainance is required least bad repercussions for the yajumans will be invoked:
1/   The first day proves fatal for the husband, his life span will be diminished.
2/   The second day  affects the life of the woman.
3/   The third day causes the feotus to abort (one way or another).
4/   The fourth invokes a soul who has male body but is burdened by being stupid, miserable, bereft of house, with no good habits, poor and short lived, not only this but this act on this day impairs the vital power of the father.

SO THE FIRST FOUR DAYS ARE AVOIDED BY ALL SANE PERSONS !

5/   The fifth day gives birth to female child, daughter.
6/   The sixth favours agood son who promotes posterity.
7/   This day, the seventh brings fourth a baren daughter, she will bear no children.
8/   The eighth will bring forth a noble son.
9/   Oh the ninth, she will be a girl who is wicked by nature.
10/  That conception on the tenth dhinam will promise a praiseworthy son.
11/  That union on the eleventh day will invite into the womb a loose or wanten woman,  or daughter of the disposition to be unrighteous.
12/   The twelth favours a virtuous son.
13/   Brings to this family a virtuous woman to benefit all.
14/   This son will be rich in gold, grain, and cows, (a vaisya).
15/   The fifteenth inclines to bring a daughter who does not live in that body long.
16/  Copulation on this sixteenth dhinam delights the three worlds, for it invokes the birth  of a good son who has sharp, refined, intelligence, who is brahminical, and devoted  to God.
