WORD FOR WORD
kiritinam--with helmet; gadinam--with club; cakra-hastam--disc in
hand; icchami--I wish; tvam--You; drastum--to see; aham--I; tatha
eva--in that position; tena eva--in that; rupena--form;
catuh-bhujena--four-handed; sahasra-baho--O thousand-handed one;
bhava--just become; visva-murte--O universal form.

TRANSLATION
O universal form, O thousand-armed Lord, I wish to see You in Your
four-armed form, with helmeted head and with club, wheel, conch and
lotus flower in Your hands. I long to see You in that form.

PURPORT by Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada:
In the Brahma-samhita (5.39) it is stated, ramadi-murtisu
kala-niyamena tisthan: the Lord is eternally situated in hundreds and
thousands of forms, and the main forms are those like Rama, Nrsimha,
Narayana, etc. There are innumerable forms. But Arjuna knew that Krsna
is the original Personality of Godhead assuming His temporary
universal form. He is now asking to see the form of Narayana, a
spiritual form. This verse establishes without any doubt the statement
of the Srimad-Bhagavatam that Krsna is the original Personality of
Godhead and all other features originate from Him. He is not different
from His plenary expansions, and He is God in any of His innumerable
forms. In all of these forms He is fresh like a young man. That is the
constant feature of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. One who knows
Krsna becomes free at once from all contamination of the material
world.

There were two Catholic boys, Timothy Murphy and Antonio Secola whose lives=
=20
paralleled each other in amazing ways. In the same year Timothy was born in=
=20
Ireland, Antonio was born in Italy. Faithfully they attended parochial=20
school from kindergarten through their Senior year in High School They took=
=20
their vows to enter the priesthood early in college, and upon graduation=20
became priests. Their careers had come to amaze the world, but it was=20
generally acknowledged that Antonio was just a cut above Timothy in all=20
respects. Their rise through the ranks of Bishop, Archbishop, and finally=20
Cardinal was meteoric to say the least, and the Catholic world knew that=20
when the present Pope died, it would be either Timothy or Antonio who would=
=20
become the next Pope. In time the Pope did die, and the College of=20
Cardinals went to work. In less time than anyone expected white smoke rose=
=20
from the chimney and the world waited to see who they had chosen. The=20
world, Catholic, Protestant, and secular was surprised to learn that=20
Timothy Murphy had been elected Pope. Antonio was beyond surprise, he was=20
devastated because, even with all Timothy's giftedness, Antonio knew he was=
=20
the better qualified. With gall that shocked the Cardinals, Antonio asked=20
for a private session with them in which he candidly asked, "Why Timothy?'=
=20
After long silence one old Cardinal took pity on the bewildered Antonio and=
=20
rose to reply, "We knew you were the better of the two, but we just could=20
not bear the thought of the leader of the Roman Catholic Church being=20
called Pope Secola."

"Oh, no, Quattro is just the name of the automobile. Look at the

"You can't pull that one on me," replies the French customs agent.
"Quattro means 4!"
"Oh, you are so stupid! Call your supervisor over!"
"He can't come. He's busy with the 2 guys in the Fiat Uno."

MODERN MEDICINE

A man runs into the vet's office carrying his dog, screaming for help.
The vet rushes him back to an examination room and has him put his dog
down on the examination table. The vet examines the still, limp body and
after a few moments, tells the man that his dog, regrettably, is dead. The
man, clearly agitated and not willing to accept this, demands a second
  opinion.

The vet goes into the back room and comes out with a cat and puts the
cat down next to the dog's body. The cat sniffs the body, walks from head
to tail, poking and sniffing the dog's body and finally looks at the vet
and meows. The vet looks at the man and says,"I'm sorry, but the cat
thinks that your dog is dead, too.

The man is still unwilling to accept that his dog is dead. So the vet
brings in a black lab, the lab sniffs the body, walks from head to tail,
and finally looks at the vet and barks. The vet looks at the man and says,
"I'm sorry, but the lab thinks your dog is dead, too.

The man, finally resigned to the diagnosis, thanks the vet and asks how
much he owes. The vet answers, "$650."

"$650 to tell me my dog is dead?" exclaims the man.

"Well," the vet replies, "I would only have charged you $50 for my initial
diagnosis. The additional $600 was for the cat scan and lab tests."

Mrs. Cohen came home from her Sisterhood meeting at the synagogue. She was
very excited, and explained to her husband that the guest at the meeting had
been a wonderful hypnotist.

Mr. Cohen then mentioned that attendance was down at the Saturday
services. Maybe they should hire the hypnotist to bring in a crowd. He
talked it over with the rabbi, who thought it was a terrific idea.

After lots of publicizing, the synagogue was filled for the Sabbath
service. The hypnotist withdrew a pocket watch. As the crowd observed,
mesmerized, the hypnotist began, "Vatch the vatch. Vatch the vatch. Vatch
the vatch."

The 45 congregants gathered there carefully observed, their eyes following=
 the
sway of the watch, as they all slipped into hypnosis.

"Vatch the vatch," the hypnotist continued. Then, accidentally, the watch
fell out of his hand. "Sh.t!" he cried.

...and it took them three weeks to clean up the synagogue.
